ISLAND GETAWAY RECOMMENDED CHECKLIST

  • Cash. The only place in Zanzibar with ATMs is in Stone town itself. While many of the resorts/accommodation accept Credit Cards (MasterCard, Visa – Not widely used is American Express), it is advisable to bring enough cash for the duration of your trip.
  • Sunblock
  • Sun hat
  • Loose cool clothes

  • Flip flops/thongs
  • Personal toiletries and medication

    • Snorkels/mask/fins (although can be rented from numerous places)
